Glasses

Nora got glasses! Now all of us in the family are four-eyes, haha. Her prescription is low but she was super excited about getting these. When she is older and hates glasses, I'll have to remind her how happy she was to get these!

Mom and Nora date

While Evie was at an event today, Nora and I had a mommy-daughter date! We went to a nearby cidery where I got a hot mulled cider and Nora got a root beer, and then we did some crafting to make rainbow loom pencil toppers. It was a really nice time!  That's my girl! We sat by the window so we could see all the action outside. We made a lollipop pencil charm. and a pencil pencil charm! Remond Town Center is all decorated for the holidays. Me and my baby! The lights were really pretty.

Evie's first dance

It's not a holiday in Canada so Thanksgiving weekend isn't usually crowded, but it is opening weekend and hit-or-miss with snow. Our ski pass this year gave us opening weekend as a free weekend that didn't count against our pass days so we couldn't pass the opportunity!  We booked a condo with our friends, the Wongs, that had a fantastic location - it was only a few feet from the Whistler lift. The downside is that it was a bit noisy but the space was just big enough for us to have Thanksgiving dinner. Our friends, E
